Study of engineering concepts and their application in U.S. Naval vessels; basic ship design, hydrodynamic forces, fluid dynamics, stability, propulsion, closed thermodynamic systems, electrical systems, shipboard power generation and distribution, shipboard safety, organization and firefighting. Prerequisites: Junior or senior classification.
