Advanced knowledge of acute and chronic health problems in primary care; epidemiology, pathology, assessment, diagnosis, therapeutic modalities and evaluation for identified conditions; role of the family nurse practitioner in health promotion and disease prevention among women and children. Prerequisite: NURS 622 .
