Examination of the various roles and responsibilities of the nurse leader, professional organizations and activities; principles of leadership and management and skills with strategies for professional development. Prerequisites: Grade of C or better in NURS 433 , NURS 442 , and NURS 418 ; grade of C or better and concurrent enrollment in NURS 435 and NURS 445 .
