Examination of the effects of chronic and acute illness on individuals and families; exploration of the disruption of illness on growth and development patterns of adults; use of clinical decision-making processes to assist adults in reaching their optimal level of wellness; includes direct patient care, simulation, interprofessional practice, laboratory, and community experiences. Prerequisite: Grade of C or better in NURS 306 , NURS 307 , and NURS 312 ; grade of C or better in NURS 316 or concurrent enrollment.
