Credits 2. 2 Lecture Hours. This course explores nursing practice in urban environments affected by instability, low-intensity conflict and civil unrest, with emphasis on trauma care, public health and infrastructure disruption in and outside of the United States. Emphasis is placed on situational awareness and steps to avoid direct contact with hostile forces. Prerequisites: Doctor of Nursing Practice; concurrent enrollment in NRPR 646 ; NRPR 642 and NRPR 644 .
