Credits 3. 3 Lecture Hours. This course provides an in-depth exploration of nursing care in four high-risk environmental domains — alpine, arctic, desert and tropical regions. Students will examine the physiological, cultural, ecological and logistical challenges unique to each environment. Prerequisites: Doctor of Nursing Practice; concurrent enrollment in NRPR 642 ; NRPR 725 and NRPR 728 .
