Credit 1. 1 Other Hour. Seminar series showcasing current advances in materials science and engineering and their application to solving real-world challenges, delivered by external speakers from industry, national laboratories, government R&D and alumni; emphasizes state-of-the-art technologies, career pathways, life-long learning, professional ethical considerations, hiring expectations and professional communication, with students engaging in Q&A and reflective summaries to synthesize emerging trends. Prerequisite: Grade of C or better in MSEN 201 , or concurrent enrollment.
