Credits 0 to 10. 0 Lecture Hours. 0 to 10 Other Hours. Exposure to clinical methods for the detection, diagnosis, triage and intervention of substance use disorders; familiarization with and knowledge of substance use disorders; development of knowledge and experience in determining treatment regimens for substance use disorders including both biological and behavioral treatment modalities; experience in working on a multidisciplinary treatment team. Must be taken on a satisfactory/unsatisfactory basis. Prerequisite: Doctor of Medicine classification.
