Catalog description

Credits 0 to 10. 0 to 10 Other Hours. Introduction to the roles, functions and operations of a county health department, students will spend time in clinical settings, engage with health authorities, participate in community activities, gain experience and appreciation for the methods and contributions of public health agencies and officials to the well-being of county residents, learn how to integrate public health agencies into future medical practice. Prerequisite: Doctor of Medicine classification.
