Learning environment for advanced experience in managing common ambulatory illnesses; during private practice experience, exposure to clinical learning situations that provide an opportunity to enhance and improve the skills required of a family physician; emphasis on core values of Family Medicine as a specialty including striving for continuity of care, quality of care, and an emphasis on the patient with a disease in the context of environment; becoming comfortable with assessments and development of confidence in therapeutic decisions while on this rotation.
