Experimental Design and Data Analysis

Credits 3. 3 Lecture Hours. This course covers the basics of design, planning and execution of engineering experiments, as well as statistical and data analysis methods. The course includes a hands-on engineering project in a group setting, consisting of a literature review, hypothesis and objective formulation, experimentation, statistical testing, data visualization and the reporting and presentation of results. Prerequisites: Grade of C or better in MEEN 345 and MEEN 361 .
