Credits 3. 3 Lecture Hours. The process and techniques of mathematical modeling; covers a variety of application areas and models such as ordinary and partical differential equations, stochastic models, discrete models and problems involving optimization. Prerequisite: MATH 304 , MATH 309 , MATH 311 , or MATH 323 ; MATH 308 ; or approval of instructor.
