Catalog description

Credit 1. 1 Lecture Hour. 1 Lab Hour. Introduction of fundamental areas of mathematical research and methods for conducting scholarly inquiry. Students will learn to navigate and utilize research databases effectively, with emphasis on developing critical reading, analytical thinking and mathematical writing skills. Prerequisites: Grade of C or better in MATH 151 or MATH 171 , or concurrent enrollment; MATH and APMT majors.
