Credits 3. 3 Lecture Hours. Examination of prehistoric marine reptile groups including ichthyosaurs, pliosaurs, plesiosaurs, and mosasaurs; fundamental principles of vertebrate paleontology, evolution, and extinction; evaluation of the geological history of these sea reptile groups with the origins and history of the Western Interior Sea. Prerequisites: MARS 102 or approval of instructor.
