Techniques of documenting collected materials, the methods of reconnaissance and the mapping of traverses in the major coastal environments; sampling and recording techniques, interview procedures and the use of maps and remotely sensed imagery. Prerequisites: CHEM 120 ; PHYS 202 , PHYS 208, or PHYS 207 , and PHYS 217/ENGR 217 ; GEOL 101 ; GEOL 102 .
