Credits 3. 3 Lecture Hours. Processes that occur within an estuary including the role that estuarine habitats provide for marine organisms; includes examination of estuarine circulation, geomorphology, chemical cycling and biological production; how human impact and pollution affect estuarine systems. Prerequisites: MARS 102 ; MARB 215 or BIOL 112 ; junior or senior classification or approval of instructor.
