Credits 3. 3 Lecture Hours. Development of negotiation skills; simulations and negotiation exercises provide first-hand experience in applying interest-based negotiation techniques; examination of the skills, constraints, and dynamics of negotiation; theoretical framework for understanding negotiation practice in a variety of contexts through readings from the fields of law, psychology, business, and communication. Prerequisite: One year of law school in the full-time or part-time program.
