Credits 2 to 3. 2 to 3 Lecture Hours. International law and policy relating to uses of and rights to freshwater resources; availability, distribution and scarcity of global freshwater; sovereignty over natural resources; conflict, conflict resolution and dispute prevention; ethics and human right to water; water and environment; development, exploitation and conservation of transboundary freshwater resources. Prerequisite: One year of law school in the full-time or part-time program.
