Credits 2. 2 Lecture Hours. Study of workplace dispute resolution; focus on the legal status and practical application of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) in the workplace; includes labor arbitration, individual employment arbitration, mediation of employment disputes; review of litigation of employment disputes to explore the pros and cons of using ADR versus litigation; simulations of arbitration and mediation of these disputes. Prerequisites: One year of law school in the full-time or part-time program.
