Catalog description

Credits 2 to 3. 2 to 3 Lecture Hours. Study of the sale and lease of goods and the principal commercial law governing such transactions; includes Articles 2 and 2A of the uniform Commercial Code as well as the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods; sale and lease contract formation; establishment of express and implied contract terms; creation and disclaimer of warranties; risk of loss; remedies for breach. Prerequisite: One year of law school in the full-time or part-time program.
