Credits 3. 3 Lecture Hours. Study of Texas law in civil cases pertaining to processes before trial; includes jurisdictions, venue, initiating legal proceedings, obtaining factual information from parties and nonparties, and terminating litigation prior to trial. Prerequisite: One year of law school in the full-time or part-time program.
