Credits 2 to 3. 2 to 3 Lecture Hours. Study of fundamental legal principles relating to the construction of various types of liability and first-party insurance contracts; includes insurance regulation, application for coverage and acceptance of risk, rules of construction, bad faith, and insurance litigation strategy. Prerequisite: One year of law school in the full-time or part-time program.
