Credits 3. 3 Lecture Hours. Examination of transference or absence of brick-and-mortar legal principles to new methods of communications; recent developments in cyberspace law; survey of legal issues on the internet; policy and pragmatic application of jurisdictional principals; intellectual property laws; privacy rights; computer crime; proprietary information; freedom of speech issues; full-scale analysis and explication of the question "Is Google really God?" Prerequisite: One year of law school in the full-time or part-time program.
