Credits 5. 2 Lecture Hours. 9 Lab Hours. Development of form-making skills and application of landscape materials (i.e., landform, water, vegetation and circulation) at a site-design scale through multiple, individual, hypothetical short design projects/exercises; introduction to basic theories, principles, applications of landscape architectural design with emphasis on context-sensitive design and evidence-based design process, form-making skills and effective communication of design ideas. Prerequisites: Graduate classification and approval of instructor.
