Credits 3. 3 Lecture Hours. Investigation of how human qualities such as cognition, affect and physical ability influence the use and impact of user interfaces for computing technologies, particularly within information systems. Interaction design concepts for user interfaces are emphasized in terms of supporting tasks and goals across individual, group, organizational, cultural and ethical contexts. Interaction evaluation techniques for assessing fit between a technology’s user interface and human qualities in context are also addressed. Prerequisite: Graduate classification.
