Catalog description

Credits 3. 3 Lecture Hours. Fundamental concepts and advanced techniques of engineering economic analysis; evaluation of alternative capital investments considering income taxes, depreciation and inflation; discounted cash flow analysis of competing projects, break-even analysis and determination of rate of return on investment; risk and uncertainty in engineering analysis. Prerequisite: ISEN 303 or approval of instructor; also taught at Qatar campus.
