Human error from a sociotechnical systems perspective; role of error in complex system failures; human behavioral modes and system design factors; analytical methods for defining the roles and impact of errors in large-scale system accidents; real-world case studies. Prerequisites: Grade of C or better in ISEN 330 ; junior or senior classification.
