Historical review and survey of covert action operations conducted by the United States (U.S.) since the inception of the National Security Act of 1947; analysis of the utilization of covert action as a tool of U.S. foreign policy drawing on extensive case studies and historical reviews; discussions of the use and misuse of covert action impacting national security and foreign policy. Prerequisites: Graduate classification.
