Credits 3. 3 Lecture Hours. Analysis of institutional tensions and disputes, learning to explicitly identify and account for key constituencies, political pressure, and evolving global actors; evaluation of the contributions of the congressional bodies, and leadership position holders to foreign policy by considering the role of personality, bureaucratic players in the executive branch, the demands of campaigning, the challenges of communicating complex challenges to the public. Prerequisites: Graduate classification.
