Credits 3. 3 Lecture Hours. Examination of the actor-specific theory of international relations through a focus on foreign policy decision-making; explanations of foreign policy making from multiple levels of analysis (e.g., individual, small group, organizational, bureaucratic, governmental, cultural, domestic political, etc.) in order to enhance understanding of why certain foreign policies emerge and prevail. Among other techniques, psychobiography and content analysis will be taught. Prerequisites: Graduate classification.
