Economic dimensions of international development issues in the context of the major problems facing development planners such as poverty, inequality, population growth, environmental impact, the urban-rural interface, subsistence, agriculture, gender concerns, low rates of human capital formation, and globalization. Prerequisite: Graduate classification; BUSH 631 or approval of instructor.
