Catalog description

Credits 3. 3 Lecture Hours. Examines the economic logic and institutional frameworks of international trade policy. Topics include the gains and losses from trade and protectionism, the role of the WTO and regional trade agreements in regulating global commerce and the use of policy instruments such as tariffs, quotas and subsidies. Prerequisites: INTA 608 strongly encouraged; graduate classification or approval of instructor.
