Credits 3. 3 Lecture Hours. Exploration of the intersection of technology, policy, strategy and national security, focusing on the national security implications of cyberspace and cyber-enabled technologies, including cyber-enabled influence operations, in support of national security interests. It is not a technical course, but will provide the background necessary for students to understand, discuss and analyze relevant issues related to cyberspace and cyber-enabled operations and activities. The course will also introduce and examine the cyberspace aspects of a number of disruptive technologies in a national security context, including artificial intelligence (AI), autonomous weapons systems, biotechnology and others. Prerequisites: INTS and INTA majors; junior or senior classification.
