Offered at Austin Pulmonary Consultants; elective impresses upon the need for a comprehensive problem oriented approach to the critically ill patient, and strives to help understand and manage complex medical problems of the critically ill patient; logical evidence-based approach to the care of the critically ill patient and provides an in-depth exposure to a wide range of medical diseases encountered in Internal Medicine; assist the fourth year student in learning basic knowledge and abilities of ICU procedures.
