Advanced, comprehensive clinical experience in internal medicine, emphasizes hands-on learning in a clinical environment, students function as active team members in the role of an intern, promotes proactive, self-directed learning and team engagement, students acquire strong medical knowledge in common diseases, supports development of thorough assessments and management plans, prepares students to become effective interns. Prerequisite: Doctor of Medicine classification.
