Provide guidance through a systematic approach to the critically ill patient and impart an appreciation for the dynamic multi-organ system interrelationships in critical care; evidence based medical approach to the frequently encountered medical illnesses requiring critical care intervention; fostering of ethical compass as it relates to complex medical dilemmas involving life and death issues. Prerequisite: Doctor of Medicine classification.
