Basic information on interdisciplinary approach to palliative and end-of-life care; skills needed to improve communication with patients with chronic or terminal diseases and appropriate methods of delivering bad news; basic information on pain assessment and management; demonstration on comprehensive nature of end-of-life care, the distinctive nature of its patient care model, and its significant place in today’s healthcare arena. Prerequisite: Doctor of Medicine classification.
