Credits 0 to 10. 0 to 10 Other Hours. Introduces medical students to various aspects of physical medicine and rehabilitation, involving collaboration with attending physicians and residents in both inpatient and outpatient settings and providing exposure to the rehabilitative care of patients with stroke, spinal cord injury, brain injury, amputation, neuromuscular diseases and musculoskeletal conditions, with optional experiences in subspecialty areas such as electrodiagnostics and pediatric rehabilitation for students who express interest. Prerequisite: Doctor of Medicine classification.
