Catalog description

Credits 1 to 3. 1 to 9 Other Hours. History of garden design and the development of the field of Ornamental Horticulture; designs of famous designers Capability Brown and Gertrude Jekyll; pastoral and formal design themes; plant selection and placement from an artistic and functional design perspective; European manipulation of plant form. Prerequisite: HORT 301 , grade of C or better in HORT 201 , or approval of instructor.
