Catalog description

Credits 3. 3 Lecture Hours. Analysis and exploration of factors that impinge on modern horticultural systems, including technological, environmental, economic and societal issues; emphasis on student-driven research on critical issues that affect a horticultural industry sector of interest to the student. Self-driven research is coupled with writing-intensive coursework. Prerequisites: HORT 202 ; grade of C or better in HORT 201 ; junior or senior classification.
