Exploration of how destination communities manage natural resources through local collaboration, participation, power dynamics, and resilience; emphasis on the role of community-level processes and actors in addressing resource management challenges; examination of how informal and formal structures influence sustainable development and gain applied strategies for organizing and engaging communities in resource-based planning and decision-making. Prerequisite: Graduate classification.
