Sustainability-oriented approach to the development, planning and management of tourism destinations, attractions and events; dynamic characteristics of the complex tourism system; local to global scope of tourism-related impacts; key stakeholders and power relations; application of key principles of sustainable tourism development for destination resilience, community well-being and long-term sustainability of tourism destinations. Prerequisites: HMGT 302 ; junior or senior classification.
