Credits 0 to 3. 0 to 3 Other Hours. Internship in a public or private organization to provide students with opportunities to develop career readiness through communication, professional responsibility and research experience appropriate to career objectives. Students are encouraged to take responsibility for their own learning by seeking out possible internship opportunities, designed to enhance understanding of established professional standards and protocols, that best suit their career interests and schedules and to consult with the internship coordinator sooner rather than later, before finalizing any internship arrangement. May be taken three times for credit. Must be taken on a satisfactory/unsatisfactory basis. Prerequisites: Junior or senior classification and approval of internship coordinator.
