Supervised, professional internship designed to provide meaningful, real-world experience in geology or geoscience-related fields; engagement in an approved plan of work aligned with academic and professional goals; work conducted at a private company, government agency, research laboratory, nonprofit entity or other approved site; internship experiences must involve substantive geologic, geotechnical, environmental or energy-related activities that build on academic training and support future career development. May be taken four times for credit. Must be taken on a satisfactory/unsatisfactory basis. Prerequisites: Graduate classification.
