Credits 3. 3 Lecture Hours. Human learning form a biological perspective; fundamentals of genetics, neuroscience and the principles used to better understand the conditions in which brains develop and function optimally; biological substrates of emotions and motivation, as well as executive functions (e.g. working memory, attentional control) and skills related to language and mathematics; neuroscience and application to atypical learners; emotional, learning and other disorders that make learning and succeeding in educational contexts more challenging. Prerequisite: Graduate classification.
