Insect Structure and Function

Credits 4. 3 Lecture Hours. 3 Lab Hours. This course focuses on insect structure and function, integrating morphology and physiology to explain how internal and external anatomical systems operate and are coordinated. Emphasis is placed on understanding how form-function relationships contribute to insect performance, behavior and overall biological success. Prerequisite: ENTO 201 , or ENTO 208 and ENTO 209 ; BIOL 111 and BIOL 112 ; CHEM 101, CHEM 111, CHEM 102 and CHEM 112, or CHEM 119 and CHEM 120 .
