Forms of Creative Writing

Catalog description

Credits 3. 3 Lecture Hours. Advanced study of major forms of prose or poetry, analysis of structure coupled with writing assignments illustrating principles of form in narrative and/or lyric modes. Instructors teaching this class will choose texts, assessments and approaches that represent published creative work and satisfy course learning objectives. May be taken three times for credit. Prerequisites: ENGL 235 ; junior or senior classification.
