Credits 3. 3 Lecture Hours. Multi-ethnic study of American literature, including writings of Black Americans, American Indians, Jewish Americans, Latino/as and other ethnic groups. Instructors teaching this class will choose texts, assessments and approaches that represent current scholarship and satisfy course learning objectives. Prerequisite: Junior or senior classification; also taught at Galveston campus.
