Credits 3. 3 Lecture Hours. Study of writing, culture and genres of the American South based on reading and analysis of key texts by representative authors and scholars of Southern studies. Instructors teaching this class will choose texts, assessments and approaches that represent current scholarship and satisfy course learning objectives. Prerequisite: Junior or senior classification.
