Credits 3. 3 Lecture Hours. Period course in English poetry, prose and drama of the 17th century with attention to various historical, cultural and/or political contexts informing the texts and their study. Instructors teaching this class will choose texts, assessments and approaches that represent current scholarship and satisfy course learning objectives. Prerequisite: 3 credits of literature at 200-level or above.
